How it tastes
A can of LUMA White Peach and Blood Orange with sliced blood orange and peach in afternoon sun

How it tastes

Bright first.
Bitter-sweet at the end.

Something you'd choose over a glass of wine. Not too sweet, properly refreshing, and with enough going on that the last sip is as good as the first.

01

Look

Clear and bright, with a soft blood-orange blush. Best in a wine glass, catching the light.

02

Nose

Ripe peach and bitter orange up front, with a hint of white wine underneath.

03

Taste

Peach first, then bitter orange. Lightly sweet, balanced by fresh acidity and a real wine backbone, with a gentle herbal bitterness on the finish.

“Peach with bitter orange, light sweetness but well-balanced acidity, noticeable wine flavour, very subtle back-end herbal bitterness.”
From our producer's final tasting notes

What's in the glass

Built on wine
and fruit.

Lightly sparkling · Vegan · Contains sulphites

  • White wine

    Spain

The backbone. Almost a third of every can is Spanish white wine, so it drinks like a spritz, not a soft drink with a kick.

  • Blood orange

    Sicily

Bitter-sweet and a little wild. It gives LUMA its edge and keeps it from ever tasting sugary.

  • White peach

    The first sip

Ripe and soft. The first thing you taste.

  • Aperitivo herbs

    The finish

A whisper of bitterness at the very end, the bit that makes you reach for the next sip.

The serve

Simple,
done properly.

A glass of LUMA Spritz on a marble table in late sun
  1. Chill it properly

Fridge-cold, at least a couple of hours.

  2. A wine glass, full of ice

The more ice, the longer it stays cold.

  3. Pour slowly

Tilt the glass so it keeps its sparkle.

  4. Finish with fruit

A slice of blood orange or peach.

Then sit down. That's the important bit.

Where it started

Born on a terrace
in Ibiza.

Two friends, fourteen summers on the same terrace, and the drink we always wished was on the menu. So we made it.
